ACC Senior Services offers several programs to support caregivers. The Bridge to Healthy Families provides care assessments, home safety checks, care consultations, support groups, educational programs, and more.

AARP of California provides information on its website about programs and services beneficial to caregivers and older adults. Caregivers can also call the AARP Family Caregiving Resource Line to learn how to access local resources.

This state program allows family caregivers in California to receive a portion of their salary for up to 8 weeks per year in order to take time off from work to care for a seriously ill family member.

Caregivers or other care providers may receive financial compensation for providing assistance such as housecleaning, personal care, grocery shopping, and accompaniment to medical appointments.

The VA offers caregiving support services. General Caregiver Support includes resources, education, and support for caregivers of veterans.
